AVA Student Member Volunteers
How would you like to meet your future mentor or employer? Join us as a student volunteer at the 2023 AVA Annual Veterinary Conference, 28 May – 2 June 2022 at the Adelaide Convention Centre and get an opportunity engage with your future peers in a fun and engaging learning atmosphere.
We have ten opportunities available with first preference given to our AVA Student Group Committee Representatives from:

Extra volunteer opportunity will be recruited from AVA student members.
About the conference
The AVA Annual Conference is one of the largest veterinary conference and exhibition in Australia covering all fields of veterinary science and is expected to attract over 800 veterinarians, nurses, practice managers and practice owners. There are seven concurrent lecture streams with over 150 hours of sessions to expand you clinical, personal and business skills with a stellar line-up of international and local speakers, social program, workshops and field trips. This conference is a unique opportunity for you to converse and gain knowledge from veterinarians from all around Australia, meet other students and new graduates as well as gaining an insight into the profession. Your role as a volunteer
The main role of student volunteers will be to assist in the session rooms including scanning delegates name badges on entry, assisting with speaker requirements and other general assistance as required.
This is an excellent opportunity to network with other AVA Members, hear talks from some of the best speakers in Australia and abroad, gain valuable contacts and get your foot in the door with future colleagues and employers.
